I started scam-baiting after my own mother was scammed back in January 2021. I saw firsthand how it affected her — how upset and violated she felt — and it changed everything for me.

One day, my mum got a call from someone pretending to be her ISP. They told her that her internet had been hacked and that they needed to "check her connection." They convinced her to turn on her computer and download a program called AnyDesk. Luckily, there wasn't anything sensitive stored on her computer — no banking info, no social media — so when they didn't find what they wanted, they pressured her into giving them access to her phone instead.

Once they had access, they sent £300 through Western Union and bought another £300 worth of Google Play gift cards. My mum started to feel suspicious and called me. I rushed over to her house within minutes, and she was still on the phone with the scammers when I arrived.

I took the phone and pretended she'd stepped away for a moment. Meanwhile, my mum contacted her bank, and they confirmed that money had already been taken. She was furious — and so was I. There was nothing I could do in that moment except yell at the scammers, but right then and there, I knew I wanted to get revenge on people who do this to others.

So, on May 23rd — my nan's birthday — I officially began my scam-baiting journey. And on May 31st 2021, I had my first live stream.

Now this is what I do. I call scammers. I record the calls. I show you their tactics so you can protect yourself and your family. And I waste as much of their time as I possibly can. Every minute a scammer spends on me is a minute they can't spend on your mum, your nan, your grandad.
